This photosculpture is a parody of some feminine traits such as vulnerability and obsession for objects offering deceptive security. I have long sought to illustrate this aspect present in myself and it is when I met Julien that it was finalized. Thanks to the addition of the photograph, the woman is represented as a maenad in ecstasy, abandoned to the supreme and obsessive pleasure that is consumed in the illusory and suffocating enjoyment of immediacy. In this work, the consumption of immediate enjoyment thus becomes synonymous with superficiality and takes the form of a "little death".
