On one extremely quiet spring night, perhaps because of the few stars, I sneaked into the Fonte dell'Abbondanza in Massa Marittima. Immersed in that cold water, I thought that despite the staggering amount of explicit images we are constantly subjected to in advertisements and on the web, art with
erotic subject matter continues to scandalise and cause much more discussion than YouPorn. A sound of footsteps forced me to get out and quickly put my clothes back on, but not before wondering why no one masturbates in front of a painting or a sculpture.
The handkerchief, which no one uses nowadays, once collected the body's moods, both in moments of discomfort and intense pleasure.
Trees observe us, that is our nature.
